A few days back, I went to Mangalore to attend a family gathering. My journey started from Bangalore to Mangalore as per the planning is done in advance. I searched for several Bangalore to Mangalore Train Timings and finally, I found the tickets via Mangalore exp. I had traveled in Mangalore EXP 16565, with Sleeper Class reservation. It was a nice experience about this train due to its best facility and services. I catch the train at Bangalore railway station. Fortunately, it was on time and I did not face any problem during the journey.
Nice Hotel Prestige Services
I had done my hotel booking in prior, this was the same hotel where the function was organized. After reaching Mangalore, I went to hotel Prestige where my family gathering was arranged. I stayed at the hotel with family. It is really a nice hotel with professional workers. I liked several facilities here, being a 3-star hotel they offer good food options, delicious breakfast, and pleasant stay conditions. This hotel is situated in a superb location. The room was well-maintained with clean washroom. The hotel also assisted us to book a local vehicle with the professional driver, whenever, we required to go for any road trips or requirements. Overall, the hospitality was good and I would suggest it to others as well.

The visit to Mangalore after family function
Tannirbhavi Beach: Beaches are always adoring and so is the Tannirbhavi Beach. It can be reached through land near Kuloor Bridge or through ferry using Gurupura River from the Sultan Battery. It is very enchanting and nice beach. It is one of few beaches that have car parking and also proper benches for visitors, on this beach. We enjoyed the boat ride from the Sultan Battery to get pleasure in the evening.
Mangaladevi Temple | Image Resource : mangaluruonline.in
Mangaladevi Temple: Shri Mangaladevi Temple was my next spot. It is an ancient temple with huge ancestral significance. It is assumed that the Mangalore city got its name from the Mangaladevi. There are many small and big shops inside and around the temple. In fact, it helped me to enjoy shopping with family and I purchased gifts and religious related stuff.
Milagres Church: Our guide suggested us to visit the Milagres Church because it is a famous Roman Catholic Church. It is situated in the Hampankatta area of the Mangalore. It is a European style church with excellent beautification and a welcoming feeling. There are plenty of spaces outside for the parking. It was a marvelous place, that gives you eternal relaxation. We also attended the English gathering and was completely bounded with pleasant Choir, nice lecture readings, liturgy, and very clear pronunciation.
Moreover, my train journey from Bangalore to Mangalore was awesome. I am happy with the train services of Mangalore express. I also enjoyed a lot with my family and got the pleasure of the visit in the Mangalore. It adds a cherry on your cake when you actually find a comfortable train, for a trip to the new city.
