A few days back, I went to Mangalore to attend a family gathering. My journey started from Bangalore to Mangalore as per the planning is done in advance. I searched for several Bangalore to Mangalore Train Timings and finally, I found the tickets via Mangalore exp. I had traveled in Mangalore EXP 16565, with Sleeper Class reservation. It was a nice experience about this train due to its best facility and services. I catch the train at Bangalore railway station. Fortunately, it was on time and I did not face any problem during the journey.

Nice Hotel Prestige Services

I had done my hotel booking in prior, this was the same hotel where the function was organized. After reaching Mangalore, I went to hotel Prestige where my family gathering was arranged. I stayed at the hotel with family.  It is really a nice hotel with professional workers. I liked several facilities here, being a 3-star hotel they offer good food options, delicious breakfast, and pleasant stay conditions. This hotel is situated in a superb location. The room was well-maintained with clean washroom. The hotel also assisted us to book a local vehicle with the professional driver, whenever, we required to go for any road trips or requirements. Overall, the hospitality was good and I would suggest it to others as well.

The visit to Mangalore after family function

Tannirbhavi Beach: Beaches are always adoring and so is the Tannirbhavi Beach. It can be reached through land near Kuloor Bridge or through ferry using Gurupura River from the Sultan Battery. It is very enchanting and nice beach. It is one of few beaches that have car parking and also proper benches for visitors, on this beach. We enjoyed the boat ride from the Sultan Battery to get pleasure in the evening.

Mangaladevi Temple: Shri Mangaladevi Temple was my next spot. It is an ancient temple with huge ancestral significance. It is assumed that the Mangalore city got its name from the Mangaladevi. There are many small and big shops inside and around the temple. In fact, it helped me to enjoy shopping with family and I purchased gifts and religious related stuff.

Milagres Church: Our guide suggested us to visit the Milagres Church because it is a famous Roman Catholic Church. It is situated in the Hampankatta area of the Mangalore. It is a European style church with excellent beautification and a welcoming feeling. There are plenty of spaces outside for the parking. It was a marvelous place, that gives you eternal relaxation. We also attended the English gathering and was completely bounded with pleasant Choir, nice lecture readings, liturgy, and very clear pronunciation.

Moreover, my train journey from Bangalore to Mangalore was awesome. I am happy with the train services of Mangalore express. I also enjoyed a lot with my family and got the pleasure of the visit in the Mangalore. It adds a cherry on your cake when you actually find a comfortable train, for a trip to the new city.

Delhi is one of the places I have visited many times. This time it was my cousins wedding that took me to Delhi. I had planned the trip before and was done with all kind of arrangements. There are many ways to reach the city from Indore. I decided to travel by air as it is an easy and fast way to reach the city. There are many airlines that are available from the city.

The tickets were booked by me using an app for travel in the airlines. There are many good airlines having direct Indore to Delhi flights. Indigo is one of the low cost carriers of the country which has started no-frills flight across the major cities in the country. Indigo also has direct flights in this sector for the passengers. I booked the tickets at very low cost in the morning 9.40 flight operated daily by the airlines.

Indigo has a no-frills flight meaning that no free meals and beverages are provided in the flight. I ordered the meals and beverages for the flight separately in-flight. The flight of the Indigo Airlines also provides on board shopping experiences for the passengers. The flight landed at the Delhi International Airport in 2 hours at 11 am.

The Majestic Delhi Airport

The airport of Delhi is very good and has many features and services for the passengers. Some of the best services and facilities available for the passengers at the Delhi airport are

Indulging in Shopping at Best Markets in Delhi

A trip to Delhi is not complete without shopping and the capital city is known for a few prominent shopping areas like the Sarojini Nagar Market and Chandni Chowk. Situated on the southwest part of Delhi, the Sarojini Nagar Market is known as a flea market, which sells cheap export surplus goods. With so many lanes, the market might look confusing for people visiting it for the first time.

I could find clothing for anyone sold at 50-60 percent discount. Other than clothing there are replete of branded watches, jewellery, shoes and chappals and accessories. I was told that the Monday market is special here for you can have good bargains. As the showrooms are closed on Monday, the lanes and open spaces are filled with local vendors and hawkers. It was a merry shopping for me as I could buy clothing and accessories to my liking.

As for food, we relished having many chaat items at various food joints. The next day, we visited Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi near the Delhi Railway Station. I wanted to find some best saris and lehenga for my wife and daughter, as well as jewellery. I could find them at Katra Neel, Nai Sadak, Dariba Kalan, and so on. We also visited Karol Bagh, which offered a range of clothing and accessories at cheaper price. Going around the market, I could find good collections of dresses for my wife and daughter, as well as me.

It was a beautiful moment to visit these markets in the city and do a lot of shopping for my family. The trip went well and I enjoyed every moment spent here.
